| Employee Gift Match Program The Employee Gift Match program encourages community involvement and supports the nonprofit organizations that Lam Research employees care about. Employees have the options of volunteering money or time or both. Lam Research matches monetary contributions dollar for dollar. Volunteer time is matched by the hour at the rate of $10 per hour. Lam Research will match up to $600 per calendar year for contributions made by each regular, full-time Lam Research employee. Nonprofit organizations and institutions that hold a tax-exempt status granted by the Internal Revenue Service are eligible for Lam Research's matching funds. Lam Research supports employees’ commitment to provide assistance to global disaster relief efforts through direct corporate contributions and a Disaster Relief Employee Gift Match Program. |
| Other Employee Giving Throughout the year Lam Research organizes employee activities such as holiday food and toy drives, Earth Day volunteer programs, and onsite employee blood drives. Lam Research sponsors employee teams for philanthropic activities such as Webcor’s King of the Mountain bicycle event. We work continuously to identify effective ways to support the charitable activities of our employees around the globe. Some of the local organizations we support include: |
