SEZ integration into Lam Research

As planned, Lam Research Corporation completed its acquisition of SEZ AG in March, 2008.  The transition team, composed of executives from both companies, began working early on to create the newly integrated Clean Product Group.  This new organization provides the industry’s broadest portfolio of advanced single-wafer clean product and technology solutions, including:

Once the Clean Product Group was established, the first priority of the transition was to create a single point of contact for new and existing customers needing sales and technical support. That step is complete and customers can now contact Lam Research global customer support with any questions they may have about our combined clean product offering.

Prior to the integration, each company pursued unique technologies in their clean products.  Together, we offer the most comprehensive cleaning solutions available.  The considerable experience, expertise and relationships with customers that both companies have established will allow Lam Research to offer the most comprehensive clean product portfolio to provide solutions that address our customers’ clean technology roadmap and current manufacturing needs.

When the SEZ product line is fully integrated into the existing line of Lam products, the Company will be able to effectively and efficiently address customers’ current manufacturing and applications needs as well as their next-generation clean technology needs.
