James W. Bagley serves as executive chairman of Lam Research’s board of directors.  Effective September 1, 1998, Mr. Bagley was appointed chairman of the board of Lam Research. 
From 1997 through June 2005, he was chief executive officer and a director of Lam Research. 
Mr. Bagley currently is a director of Teradyne Inc. and Micron Technology, Inc.  From June 1996
to August 1997, Mr. Bagley served as chairman of the board and chief executive officer of
OnTrak Systems, Inc.  Prior to joining OnTrak, Mr. Bagley was employed by Applied Materials, Inc., for 15 years in various senior management positions, most recently as chief operating officer and vice chairman of the board.  Mr. Bagley held various management positions at Texas Instruments Inc. before he joined Applied Materials.
