Korea Technology Center
JOIN US TO MOVE THE WORLD FORWARD
BUILD YOUR FUTURE
We are expanding our corporate research and development (R&D) activities into South Korea to enable faster and closer engagement with customers. The Korea Technology Center (KTC) is expected to enhance Lam’s speed to solutions and to further enable our customers in their development of next generation semiconductor devices. The KTC will be an extension of our existing research and development facilities in the United States. Upon completion, the center is expected to create 90 to 100 job opportunities for Korea’s advanced science and engineering sector.
A LEADER IN R&D
Global Products and Technology, KTC GM
"Most of us take the value of a R&D lab for the advancement of science and technology for granted. Just imagine where Edison would have conducted thousands of his filament experiments before actually productizing a viable filament without his Menlo Park Laboratory. Even after more than a century today, the problems that a R&D lab tackles to commercialize technology are equally complex and challenging with performance, cost, and schedule tradeoffs. I am very excited to be part of our new state of the art Korea Technology Center that will bring our US R&D capability close to our regional customers. I particularly look forward to working with the KTC Lab team to bring up the lab with very aggressive commissioning milestones and start working with our engineers to solve our customer’s most challenging problems."
